Pros: The atmosphere was good.
Cons: The lack of efficiency and feeling safe.
On Wednesday, Jan. 17 morning, I went to play for a while as I had done in prior days. However, something very unfortunate happened. My wallet was stolen from my a grocery bag I placed on a chair next to me. I placed my women’s wallet which was a pretty good size women’s wallet in the bag instead of inside my purse. I used a 1,000 pesos Mexican bill to put 500 pesos in my father’s card and 500 in my card so we could play on our favorite slots. Then I placed it in the grocery bag and covered both my purse and my grocery bag with my shall. There weren’t that many people playing at the time. This was around 10 a.m. and 12 p.m. I started to play on the slot next up my dad. Than I move to a slot in another area, but still close by. I was playing and then I hit thirsty so I went to the bar area close to me to get some water and checked on how my dad was doing. I stupidly left everything on the chair next to me. Then I came back and continued playing. Then the slot lost the signal. I asked a staff member that was passing by for help. He told me to leave it fir a few minutes and if it didn’t start back up he would get some help for me. I waited. The machine did not turn face on and the staff member called for some help. Then another staff member tried to get the signal back. It didn’t work so finally they got the mechanic to come fux the machine. He came and worked on it got a while. Nothing worked and the machine never turned back on. They asked me if I remembered how much money I still had left on the card and I told them that it was just much probably 250 pesos so they took my card and put 250 pesos so I could use it on another machine. I used it on a slot next to me and quickly lost it all. I took my purse, my shall and grocery bag to where my dad was playing. I was looking on facebook on my phone that there was a show I wanted to go to when I got back home after my vacation was over. I proceeded to get my wallet out of my grocery bag and it was gone. I looked everywhere I had been to, but there was no sign of my wallet. I reported to there security and they took the report. They told me that they would check the video in the area I was at. They told me they would have to requested from Tijuana and it would take around 2 to 3 hours. I told them I would wait for a response there at the casino. They said ok and took my phone number.my dad and I waited until 4 p.m. and I asked if they had gotten any thing from Tijuana yet. They said no and took my number again. I did not hear from them all night and then I went back to the casino on Thursday morning, they told me they gotten some footage and were going to review it and more footage would be coming to them. I said ok, I will be back tomorrow. I did not here from them all day. On Friday, Jan. 5th I went back and they told me the footage for the time frame I had given them did not show anyone taking my wallet out of my grocery bag. I was devastated and very disappointed. They asked me if I wanted to come back and talk to the main manager that evening and I told no because she was just going to repeat the same information they had given me. I unfortunately, not only lost my credit cards, but 41,000 pesos I was going to use to pay of a property. I had a heart condition, so I had to stay calm throughout this awful situation. I don’t understand how the video did not capture anyone taking my wallet. I am a Christian women and I forgive the person who took my wallet and thank the efforts they took to help me find it, however, I don’t believe at all that nothing showed up on the video, and forgive the
People responsible in this cover up. May God have mercy on them and their loved ones. Please Beware !!!
